Job summary

Duties include interpreting work orders, following blueprints to perform repairs, welding, cutting and gouging, and ensuring safety and quality standards. Applicants should be 18+, fluent in English, and prepared for background checks and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience is a plus but not required; paid on-the-job training is available.
• Valid Driver’s License and/or TWIC card may be required depending on location.
• Must be 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Wear PPE and pass any required medical exams.

Responsibilities

• Interpret job work orders and follow blueprints / schematics to perform required repairs
• Utilizes basic mechanical skills and builds knowledge of machines and tools to weld, cut and gouge
• Notifies of any materials and/or equipment required to ensure completion of job tasks
• Follows all safety rules, keeps work area clean and complies with all ARS Environmental Health and Safety Policies
• Ensures AAR, ARS and customer quality assurance standards are met
• Completes any other duties as assigned in order to complete the task
