PSC Group is seeking a Railcar Repair Technician to safely handle heavy equipment, railcars, and tracks while completing all repairs. You will interpret work orders and blueprints to perform required repairs, using basic mechanical skills to weld, cut and gouge.

Training is provided on-the-job; a valid driver’s license and/or TWIC card may be required depending on location. English fluency, reliability, and on-site attendance are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience is a plus but not required; paid on-the-job training is available.
• May require a valid Driver’s License and/or a valid TWIC card depending on location.
• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Wear all required PPE and pass any required medical exams.
• Speak, read, write fluent English.
• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is required.
• Previous military experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Interprets job work orders and follows blueprints/schematics to perform repairs.
• Uses basic mechanical skills to weld, cut and gouge.
• Notifies of materials and equipment needed to complete tasks.
• Follows safety rules and ARS EH&S policies; keeps area clean.
• Ensures AAR, ARS and customer quality standards are met.
• Completes any other duties to finish the job.
