PSC Group seeks a Railcar Repair Technician to safely repair railcars, interpret blueprints, and operate welding and cutting tools on-site in Minnesota. The role emphasizes safety and quality training to build a stable career within the company.

No prior experience is strictly required as on-the-job training is provided; a valid driver’s license or TWIC may be needed depending on location, and candidates must be 18+, able to pass drug screening, a physical, and a background check.

Formación

• Experience is a plus but not required; on-the-job training available
• May require a valid Driver’s License and/or a valid TWIC card depending on location
• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
• Wear all required PPE and pass required medical exams
• Speak, read, write fluent English
• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality required
• Previous military experience is a plus and following procedures is valued

Responsabilidades

• Interprets job work orders and follows blueprints/schematics to perform repairs
• Welds, cuts and gouges using basic mechanical skills and tools
• Notifies materials or equipment needs to complete tasks
• Follows safety rules and ARS/EHS policies; keeps area clean
• Ensures AAR, ARS and customer quality standards are met
• Completes any other duties as assigned to finish tasks
