Job summary

PSC Group is hiring a Railcar Repair Technician to safely repair railcars, heavy equipment, and tracks with a focus on safety and quality. You will interpret work orders, follow blueprints, and perform welding/cutting tasks as part of a hands-on maintenance team.

Applicants should be 18+, legally eligible to work in the U.S., and prepared to undergo drug screening, background checks, and PPE requirements. On-site attendance and reliability are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required for reading blueprints and communicating on site.
• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality are required.
• Experience is a plus but not required; on-the-job training is provided.
• Valid Driver’s License and/or TWIC card may be required depending on location.
• Must be 18+ years old and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Drug screen, physical and background check required.
• Willingness to wear PPE and pass medical exams.
• Military experience a plus for following procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interprets work orders and follows blueprints or schematics to perform repairs.
• Uses basic mechanical skills to weld, cut and gouge as needed.
• Notifies on materials or equipment required to complete tasks.
• Adheres to ARS EH&S policies and safety rules.
• Ensures AAR, ARS and customer quality standards are met.
• Completes additional duties to finish tasks.
