Job summary

PSC Group is seeking Railcar Repair Technicians to safely handle heavy equipment, railcars, and tracks while completing repairs at our facility in the United States. This full-time role emphasizes safety, quality training, and long-term career growth within a national leader in rail service.

You will interpret work orders, follow blueprints, weld, cut, gouge, and coordinate with teams to ensure all tasks meet ARS and customer QA standards.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required for reading blueprints, communicating with teams and safety documentation.
• Welding, cutting and gouging skills for railcar repairs.
• Ability to interpret work orders and blueprints/schematics accurately.
• On-the-job training available; prior experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interpret job work orders and follow blueprints/schematics to perform repairs.
• Weld, cut and gouge using basic mechanical skills and tools.
• Notify required materials or equipment to complete tasks.
• Follow safety rules and keep work area clean; comply with EH&S policies.
• Ensure QA standards (ARS, AAR) are met; perform other duties as assigned.
