Qualifications

• 5+ years of railcar repair experience required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing relationships with customers and across a matrixed organization.
• Strong process focus, data analytics, problem solving, organization, time management, and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee assigned leased railcar fleets, manage repairs, costs, and compliance while ensuring seamless customer service from order delivery to issue resolution.
• Audit invoices and estimates, coordinate with repair shops, and drive cross-functional collaboration to optimize performance and reduce costs.
• Leverage data-driven insights and strong communication to deliver best-in-class results for customers and operations.
• Prepare and issue repair instructions to vendors; act as liaison between shops, customers, engineering, accounting, and internal groups.
• Analyze shop repair estimates and invoices for accuracy and cost savings; approve repairs using data tools to decrease fleet cost of ownership.
