Job summary

Jaguar Transport Holdings, LLC is seeking a conductor/engineer to control and coordinate train movements while switching railcars in yards or industrial setups to support unloading and loading operations. Responsibilities include reading switching orders, following FRA rules, inspecting locomotives, and coordinating with the dispatcher.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED required.
• Must have or have had 49CFR242 and/or 49CFR240 qualifications.
• At least 1 year job-related experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to pass training and required testing.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Control and coordinate train movements while switching railcars.
• Inspect locomotive before and after runs per FRA requirements.
• Read and follow switching orders and signals from yard personnel.
• Communicate with crew via radio and train dispatcher for instructions.
• Perform switching operations and assist with coupling/uncoupling as needed.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and maintain safety standards.
