Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, architectural or a related field from an accredited program.
• 3 to 5 years' experience in quality control and/or construction safety with a minimum of one year in transportation industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications and Procore.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, scheduling and coordinating work throughout project phases.
• Read and interpret construction documents such as drawings, specifications, geotechnical reports, and submittals.
• Monitor project progress to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Prepare inspector reports, cost to date, estimated cost to complete, and submittals logs.
• Assist with quantity surveys and take-offs from contract documents and actual work-in-place.
• Assist in preparing construction cost budgets and estimates.
• Prepare contract plans, specifications and estimates; manage sub-consultants.
• Attend meetings and record meeting minutes; coordinate with team to meet milestones.
