Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, Inc. is seeking a qualified project team member to assist in providing construction project oversight, interpreting documents, coordinating efforts, and supporting the project manager under limited supervision.

The position offers a competitive salary ($156,000–$187,200) with ESOP benefits, and requires a Bachelor's in engineering/related field and 5+ years of construction experience; OSHA and USACE CQM certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or related field from an accredited program.
• 5+ years of experience in construction or transit quality management/assurance.
• Strong communication, teamwork and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, scheduling and coordinating work across project phases.
• Develop and implement project-specific QA programs.
• Read and interpret drawings, specs, reports and maps.
• Coordinate with project management to ensure current contract documents are used.
• Prepare inspector daily reports, cost to date, cost to complete, submittals, RFIs.
• Assist with quantity surveys and take-offs from documents and work in place.
• Enforce QA/QC practices for bid task orders.
• Prepare and compile project plans, specs and estimates.
• Manage sub-consultants and in-house support disciplines.
• Attend meetings and record minutes.
• Communicate with team to meet milestones and quality guidelines.
