Techno Consult Engineering, PC is seeking an Assistant Resident Engineer to support field supervision and project delivery for the Hudson Tunnel Project. You will work with New Jersey Transit, contractors, engineers, and project management teams to ensure progress and compliance.

The role emphasizes field coordination, documentation, QA, safety, environmental compliance, meetings, and close-out activities across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in construction management, field engineering, or inspection.
• Familiarity with construction documentation, environmental compliance, codes and regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with BIM or CAD is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assist with field supervision and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with plans, specs, schedules, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, inspectors, engineers, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and maintain progress.
• Review submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, daily inspection reports, change orders, and construction work plans.
• Maintain project documentation and assist with schedule tracking, cost monitoring, change management, and progress reporting.
• Support QA activities, inspections, materials testing, and resolution of non-conformances.
