Hybrid schedule with day-to-day training support across shifts. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of technical writing or training coordination experience in rail/transit settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years in technical writing, training coordination, or related role in rail/transit/engineering preferred.
• Ability to read engineering design documents, specs, and cutsheets.
• Strong technical writing with evidence of manuals or training materials.
• Proficiency with MS Office and document management systems.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering documents to produce manuals, training documents, and instructional materials.
• Organize meetings with SMEs, client reps, and internal stakeholders to gather information.
• Defend positions and negotiate revisions on client comments, per Training Manager guidance.
• Manage the full comment resolution cycle and close items in a timely manner.
• Produce documentation that meets project formatting, style, and quality guidelines.
• Support planning and delivery of day-to-day training activities on the project.
• Maintain training rosters and attendance records; ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Coordinate with Training Manager to submit admin docs on schedule.
• Provide proactive support and resolve issues independently where appropriate.
• Attend meetings and accurately record minutes, distribute actions.
