Job summary

Koppers Inc. in Pittsburgh seeks a marketing–oriented sales professional to quote railroad products, manage orders, and deliver superb customer service.

You’ll coordinate with plant locations on inventory, production, freight rates and logistics to ensure on-time deliveries. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Marketing, have prior business sales experience, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing preferred.
• Prior experience in business sales preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to set priorities and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Quote railroad products to customers (crossties, switch ties, bridge materials).
• Order management and follow-up.
• Provide customer service, including inquiries, order tracking, and feedback.
• Interface with plant locations concerning inventory, production, freight rates and logistics.
• Provide support for outside sales managers.
• Follow procedures established by credit, logistics and tax departments.
