Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver's license.
• Proficient in working with both print and digital information.
• Demonstrate the ability to comprehend, interpret, reference, evaluate, organize, and accurately record both non-technical and technical information.
• Computer literacy and basic keyboarding skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both spoken and written.
• Capable of working independently and in groups.
• Must complete an English assessment prior to interview.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of signal circuitry, equipment, and systems to identify problems and defects.
• Perform comprehensive testing of signal circuitry, equipment, and systems in accordance with FRA requirements.
• Utilize troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve malfunctions.
• Assemble and disassemble signal crossing warning device equipment as needed.
• Carry out maintenance, repair, and replacement tasks for signal systems and components.
• Plan, organize, and track activities related to signal circuitry and equipment.
• Adhere to safety rules and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Foster positive relationships with colleagues, supervisors, contractors, and customers and handle conflicts effectively.
