Job summary

Stadler US in Austin seeks a General Manager to serve as the primary operational and commercial interface between Stadler Rail Service US and CapMetro for the Austin DMU fleet support program. You will lead fleet reliability, customer relations, contract performance, technical support activities, and continuous improvement, collaborating with Stadler US in Salt Lake City and international partners.

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in engineering, business, transportation, or related field.
• 3+ years leadership experience in transportation, fleet management, maintenance or service operations.

• Serve as primary customer interface with CapMetro.
• Lead monthly performance reviews and KPI reporting.
• Manage contractual obligations and service delivery.
• Prepare executive and operational reports.
• Monitor fleet reliability and availability.
• Coordinate root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Stadler US manufacturing and international teams.
• Transfer global best practices into Austin operations.
