Job summary

Salt Lake & Garfield Railroad is seeking an Operations Manager in Salt Lake City to oversee all facets of railroad operations. You will report to the Regional Operations Manager and focus on safety, efficiency, and process improvement.

The role requires budgeting, coordinating with management, training staff, and maintaining customer relations while ensuring compliance with FRA regulations. This position may involve travel 0–10% and extended periods away from home.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5–8 years railroad supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of FRA regulations required.
• Budget management experience required.
• Conductor certification required; Railroad Engineer certification preferred.
• Strong management and customer relations skills.
