Job summary

Patriot Rail is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead daily railroad operations, drive safety, efficiency, and service while developing teams and elevating performance. You will influence day-to-day activities and shape the future growth of a growing railroad.

This role requires a proven leader with expertise in railroad operations, FRA regulations, and budget management to build strong customer relationships and deliver results across multiple projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of railroad leadership experience.
• Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Budget and financial management experience.
• Conductor certification required; Engineer certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily railroad operations with a focus on safety, efficiency, and service.
• Develop and coach high-performing teams.
• Drive operating performance and budget goals.
• Build strong customer and business relationships.
• Ensure compliance with FRA regulations and company standards.
