Job summary

OOCL North America Group is seeking an Operations Manager for an on-site role in the Salt Lake City/South Jordan area. The successful candidate will oversee intermodal cargo reporting, coordinate dwell plans, and set KPIs for rail billing while guiding on-site and off-site teams to meet performance goals.

Requirements include 5 years in container shipping and at least 3 years in a supervisory role; strong MS Office and rail web app skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years container shipping industry experience
• Minimum of 3 years management/supervisory experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee reporting for distressed intermodal cargo and ensure clear communication across the organization.
• Coordinate actionable plans related to intermodal dwell for all stakeholders and measure results.
• Establish and communicate KPI's and guidelines related to rail billing and dwelling intermodal cargo.
• Provide direction and coaching to offshore staff to achieve performance goals.
