You will gain experience on projects serving Class I, short line and regional railroads, municipal, industrial and port clients across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or plans to obtain licensure.
• Experience with engineering and design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, OpenRoads, MicroStation, Revit, GIS, or similar tools.
• Construction inspection, field or project experience related to engineering, transportation or infrastructure.
• Interest in freight rail, transit, industrial, port or transportation infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, design, construction and delivery of rail infrastructure projects.
• Assist with technical deliverables including calculations, drawings, specifications, reports and cost estimates.
• Contribute to projects involving track, facilities, structures, civil infrastructure, environmental services and advisory support.
• Participate in site visits, field assessments, inspections and project walkthroughs.
• Utilize engineering and analytical tools to support project development and delivery.
• Research and apply applicable codes, standards, regulations and client requirements.
