Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, OpenRoads, MicroStation, Revit or GIS.
• Construction inspection, field assessment or surveying experience.
• Interest in freight rail, transit and transportation infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design, construction and delivery of rail infrastructure projects.
• Assist with technical deliverables: calculations, drawings, specs, reports and cost estimates.
• Contribute to projects across track, facilities, civil infrastructure and environmental services.
• Participate in site visits, field assessments and project walkthroughs.
• Utilize engineering tools to support project development and delivery.
• Research and apply applicable codes, standards and client requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, environmental and construction disciplines.
• Work with experienced engineers, project managers and technical specialists to grow skills.
• Travel periodically for meetings and field assignments.
