Job summary

Ragnar Benson Construction is seeking a hands-on Superintendent to lead rail, data center, and commercial building projects across the United States. You will manage on-site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality on every phase.

This role requires a 2-week on-site rotation with a four-day home period, a $1,020 weekly per diem, and a valid license to drive. A company vehicle and fuel card are provided for the assigned sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum GED or High School Diploma.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Civil Construction Superintendent with rail focus.

Responsibilities

• Attend pre-job meetings and review project scope with PM/Area Manager.
• Set up job site and review cost codes before start.
• Coordinate subcontractor operations and manage local union relationships.
• Oversee safety, OSHA compliance, and daily paperwork (timesheets, diaries, cost codes).
• Generate two-week look-ahead schedules and ensure material/equipment readiness.
