Community Teamwork in Lowell, MA seeks a Rental Assistance Supervisor to oversee the RAFT program’s administrative, programmatic, and fraud investigation functions, ensuring timely, compliant service delivery to eligible families.

You will lead a small team, coordinate application processing and training, and collaborate with funding sources while upholding CTI values of equity and compassion.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience with low-income, culturally diverse, and at-risk families.
  • Prior related experience is required.
  • Knowledge of community resources for low-income families.
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in basic computer software and data collection systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and crisis management skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and confidentiality.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to pass state and federal background check.
  • Ability to attend training on job related skills.
  • High School degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee RAFT program compliance with the Administrative Plan and funding source requirements.
  • Oversee the RAFT Portal: assign applications, manage overflow, match landlords/tenants, and generate reports.
  • Process, review, and approve applications; investigate fraud; communicate findings to CTI and funding sources.
  • Inform property owners of fraud and take steps to recoup funds; follow all fraud reporting protocols.
  • Collaborate with RAFT Leads on appeals, recoupment, voids, and payment issues.
  • Review applications and submit for payment; manage payment issues with owners and tenants.
  • Develop materials and facilitate training for the program.
  • Oversee a small team; approve time/attendance and ensure accuracy of submissions.
  • Attend required meetings; act as liaison with partner organizations; uphold CTI values.
