Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic examinations under radiologist supervision and coordinate daily radiology workflows. The role requires base knowledge of procedures, patient history documentation, and adherence to safety protocols.

The candidate will work with the radiology team to ensure accurate imaging, proper patient identification, and correct contrast administration, while maintaining records and collaborating with physicians.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic examinations and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history on requisition by physician.
• Verifies patient identity and consent.
• Administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and physicians as needed.
• Operates equipment and positions patients accurately.
• Maintains departmental records.
