Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic exams under the Radiologist's direction. You will coordinate daily activities, ensure patient safety, and provide clerical support.

Requirements include completing an AMA-approved Radiology Technology Program, ARRT registration, 1 year of direct patient care preferred, and BLS. You will work with radiologists and other staff, manage equipment positioning, and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Formal Radiology Technology program completed.
• ARRT registration required or eligible and must register within 1 year.
• BLS certification required per policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Document patient history on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirm patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating identity.
• Prepare and administer contrast media as required.
• Consult with radiologist as necessary.
• Position patients correctly and operate equipment as instructed.
• Maintain records per departmental standards.
