Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist. You will coordinate daily activities, prepare contrast media, and maintain proper documentation in accordance with department standards.

Minimum requirements include ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology education, registry eligibility with completion within 1 year, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Educational background aligned with ARRT Radiologic Technology; graduate of an ARRT-recognized program.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment as dictated by procedures and demonstrates correct positioning.
