Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire; BLS required.
• Ability to document patient history and coordinate procedures.
• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development relevant to patient population served.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure.
• Confirms patient identification and verifies identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Operates equipment and positions patients correctly.
• Maintains records per departmental standards.
