Job summary

Reston Hospital Center is seeking a Radiology Technologist PRN to perform radiographic procedures and assist with fluoroscopy in various imaging settings. The role emphasizes radiation safety, adherence to protocols, and ongoing professional development.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT RT(R) certification or eligibility, BCLS certification, and the ability to work across fixed and portable units in a busy imaging department.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a program in radiologic technology approved by the Council on Medical Education of the AMA or equivalent education.
• Licensure: ARRT Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)) certification or eligible for registry.
• BCLS certification required.
• Experience: Ability to perform radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures following standards and departmental protocols.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures using fixed and portable units.
• Assists physicians in fluoroscopy using fixed and portable units.
• Adheres to radiation safety and universal precautions.
