Job summary

Advocate Health is hiring a Radiologic Technologist in Greensboro, NC for PRN as-needed coverage in Imaging Services. The role requires ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology education and registry eligibility with completion within one year.

BLS is required. You will perform radiographic and fluoroscopic exams, prepare contrast media, verify patient identity, and collaborate with radiologists and physicians.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an institution ARRT-recognized in Radiologic Technology.
• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date. BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedure and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills.
• Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.
