Qualifications

  • Completion of a 24-month Radiologic Technology program at an AMA-approved institution.
  • Valid ARRT (R) certification and active Florida licensure required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform various physical tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Perform radiographs (x-rays) to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
  • Obtain high-quality radiographic images and document clinical information.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Radiology Technologist - PRN/Per Diem

Our imaging teams are dedicated and caring professionals. We are currently seeking a Florida-licensed Radiology Technologist on a PRN/per diem/as-needed basis. You will perform radiographs (x-rays) to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment, ensuring procedures are done accurately, compassionately, and respectfully.

Your tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Possessing thorough knowledge of diagnostic radiographic procedures and equipment, including surgical, portable, trauma, general, and fluoroscopic procedures.
  • Obtaining high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images, ensuring optimal images for interpretation with proper markers and stickers.
  • Selecting proper technical factors and techniques, assisting with contrast media if needed.
  • Preparing, transferring, and positioning patients safely, ensuring modesty and comfort.
  • Documenting clinical information, obtaining consent, and completing all required documentation accurately and timely.
  • Maintaining effective communication with patients and colleagues, including radiologists.
  • Checking equipment operation, maintaining cleanliness, and stocking supplies.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a 24-month Radiologic Technology program at an AMA-approved institution.
  • Valid ARRT (R) certification.
  • Active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Ability to perform work involving standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs.
