Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved Radiology program with ARRT Registry or registry eligible.
  • New graduate or less than one year of experience in diagnostic radiology.

Responsibilities

  • Operates radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images.
  • Prepares patients for procedures and ensures their comfort and safety.
  • Maintains radiologic equipment and reports malfunctions.

Summary of Job Duties: The Diagnostic Radiology Technologist produces radiographic images for medical interpretation, interacts with healthcare staff, clerical staff, patient care departments, and patients' families. Responsible for performing correct radiologic exams and producing high-quality images.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an approved Radiology program – ARRT Registry or registry eligible
  • New graduate or less than one (1) year of experience
  • ARRT national registry, State of Arkansas Radiation License
  • CPR Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS Degree
  • More than one (1) year of experience in diagnostic radiology or related field

Additional Information:

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and position radiologic equipment following specifications and regulations to ensure patient safety.
  • Prepare patients, provide instructions, assist in positioning, and ensure patient care during scans.
  • Serve as backup for clinical team members by managing patient flow and triaging.
  • Maintain radiologic equipment and report malfunctions.
  • Review patient records and import external images.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary: Commensurate with education and experience
