Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college, OR six months to one year related experience.
ARRT radiography certification required within 6 months of hire.
CPR certification and background clearances (Act 34, Act 33, Act 73) as specified.

Responsibilities

Position patient and perform imaging procedures.
Analyse results and identify imaging quality issues.
Reseat patient and repeat procedures to ensure quality.
Enter, transmit, and report scan results.
Review history and orders; educate patient on procedures and equipment.
Prepare/ administer contrast media when ordered; monitor patient status.
Prepare equipment; select exposure factors and imaging parameters; ensure safety and QC.
Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions.
