Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform prescribed radiographic imaging with independent judgment and initiative. You will position patients, select exposure factors, and ensure image quality while following safety standards.

The role requires ARRT Radiography certification within 6 months of hire, CPR certification, and compliance with HIPAA and privacy policies. Prior radiology experience is preferred. This is a full-time on-site position in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's degree or equivalent; ARRT radiography certification within 6 months of hire (12 months for incumbents before Apr 2026).
• CPR certification required by American Heart Association.
• Background checks and privacy/security training as per HIPAA policies.

Responsibilities

• Position patient and perform radiographic imaging procedures.
• Analyze results and identify image quality issues; reposition if needed.
• Enter, transmit and report scan results; review history and orders with patients.
