Job summary

Allegheny Health Network in Natrona Heights, PA seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic imaging procedures with minimal supervision, using independent judgment.

You will position patients, adjust exposure factors, report results, educate patients, and ensure safety and quality; ARRT certification required within 6 months, CPR certification, and background checks; prior radiology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college/technical school or equivalent experience.
• ARRT radiography certification within 6 months of hire.
• CPR certification.
• Background clearance per company policy.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and perform imaging procedures.
• Analyze results and address image quality issues.
• Notify and document scan results.
• Educate patients about procedures and equipment.
• Prepare and administer contrast media when ordered and within scope.
• Ensure equipment readiness, exposure factors, and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and report as needed.
