Job summary

Advocate Health in Chicago, IL is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist to operate radiographic equipment, assist radiologists, and support trauma imaging. The role requires ARRT eligibility, CPR certification, and RIS/basic computer knowledge.

40 hours per week with listed pay range and benefits eligibility. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program; either an Associate Degree or a certificate with 10 years of experience is required.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Certificate with 10 years of experience or an Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT eligibility with registration within 3 months of start date.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operates x-ray equipment to produce radiographs as directed by physician.
• Assists radiologists in fluoroscopic procedures and mini-special procedures.
• Performs radiographic exams on trauma patients to expedite care.
• Maintains exposure factors and positions patients for optimum image quality.
• Ensures equipment is functioning properly and adheres to safety protocols.
