Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Radiology Technologist II for Bridgton, ME. This 12-week assignment offers nights and days shifts with a weekly pay range.

The role performs diagnostic imaging across X-ray, CT, Mammography, Bone Density and Ultrasound, following department protocols. You will serve as the primary contact for patients, ensuring quality service, and participate in PI/QC activities while supporting department operations.

Qualifications

• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• Currently certified in two modalities.
• BLS certification upon hire and maintained.
• Familiar with State and Federal regulations.
• One year of Acute Clinical Radiography.
• Graduate of an ARRT-accredited program.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures (X‑ray, CT, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound, and Special Procedures) per department protocols.
• Serves as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring quality service and care.
• Participates in Performance Improvement (PI) and Quality Control (QC) activities.
• Assists with maintaining the department Performance Improvement Program.
• Oversees radiology operations and/or staff in the absence of the Manager/Director.
• Maintains department supplies, equipment, and assigned sub‑department inventory.
• Supports scheduling for assigned sub‑departments.
• Promotes teamwork and excellent customer service.
• Processes and transmits images to PACS.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• 1. Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• 2. Effective July 1, 2017appropriate national certifications in two modalities required.
• 3. Current BLS certification upon hire and maintain current.
• 4. Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
• 5. One year of Acute Clinical Radiography required.
• 6. Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT.
• 7. Proficient computer skills.
