Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing seeks a Radiology Technologist II to perform diagnostic imaging (X-ray, CT, mammography, bone density, ultrasound) per department protocols in Bridgton, ME. You will be the primary patient contact, ensuring high-quality service and care while supporting scheduling and inventory duties.

Required ARRT-accredited program graduate, state licensure and fluoroscopy permit, and two-modality certification with at least one year of acute radiography experience.

Qualifications

• State licensure and fluoroscopy permit required by the state.
• Two modalities certifications required.
• Current BLS certification at hire and maintained.
• Familiar with state and federal regulations.
• One year of acute clinical radiography experience required.
• Graduate of ARRT-accredited program.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures (X-ray, CT, mammography, bone density, ultrasound, and special procedures) per department protocols.
• Serves as primary contact for patients, ensuring quality service and care.
• Participates in Performance Improvement and Quality Control activities.
• Oversees radiology operations and staff in absence of Manager/Director.
• Maintains department supplies, equipment and sub-department inventory.
• Supports scheduling for assigned sub-departments and promotes teamwork.
• Transmits images to PACS.

Shifts Available: Nights and Days

Pay: up to $1,492.40 – $2,087.20 gross per week

Assignment Length: 12 weeks

Responsibilities:

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures (X‑ray, CT, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound, and Special Procedures) per department protocols
• Serves as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring quality service and care
• Participates in Performance Improvement (PI) and Quality Control (QC) activities
• Assists with maintaining the department Performance Improvement Program
• Oversees radiology operations and/or staff in the absence of the Manager/Director
• Maintains department supplies, equipment, and assigned sub‑department inventory
• Supports scheduling for assigned sub‑departments
• Promotes teamwork and excellent customer service
• Processes and transmits images to PACS

Qualifications:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.

2. Effective July 1, 2017appropriate national certifications in two modalities required.

3. Current BLS certification upon hire and maintain current.

4. Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.

5. One year of Acute Clinical Radiography required.

6. Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT.

7. Proficient computer skills.
