Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Radiology Technologist II for the Bridgton, Maine radiology department. The role covers nights and days, performing diagnostic imaging procedures and ensuring patient care meets quality standards.

You will contribute to PI/QC activities and support department operations. Requirements include ARRT‑accredited radiography training, state licensure with fluoroscopy permit, current BLS, and familiarity with federal/state regulations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures per department protocols (X-ray, CT, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound, Special Procedures).
• Serves as primary contact for patients, delivering quality service and care.
• Participates in Performance Improvement and Quality Control activities.

Shifts Available: Nights and Days

Pay: up to $1,492.40 – $2,087.20 gross per week

Assignment Length: 12 weeks

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures (X‑ray, CT, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound, and Special Procedures) per department protocols
• Serves as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring quality service and care
• Participates in Performance Improvement (PI) and Quality Control (QC) activities
• Assists with maintaining the department Performance Improvement Program
• Oversees radiology operations and/or staff in the absence of the Manager/Director
• Maintains department supplies, equipment, and assigned sub‑department inventory
• Supports scheduling for assigned sub‑departments
• Promotes teamwork and excellent customer service
• Processes and transmits images to PACS

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• 1. Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• 2. Effective July 1, 2017appropriate national certifications in two modalities required.
• 3. Current BLS certification upon hire and maintain current.
• 4. Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
• 5. One year of Acute Clinical Radiography required.
• 6. Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT.
• 7. Proficient computer skills.
