Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Radiology Technologist II to work in Bridgton, ME. This role supports the Radiology Diagnostic department with nights and days shifts on a 12‑week assignment, offering weekly pay.

The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic imaging procedures (X-ray, CT, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound, and Special Procedures), maintain quality service, and participate in PI/QC activities while ensuring patient safety and efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• Two modalities certifications required as of 2017 per the posting.
• Current BLS certification on hire and maintained.
• Familiarity with State and Federal regulations.
• One year of Acute Clinical Radiography required.
• Graduate of ARRT-accredited program.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures (X‑ray, CT, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound, and Special Procedures) per department protocols.
• Serves as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring quality service and care.
• Participates in Performance Improvement (PI) and Quality Control (QC) activities.
• Assists with maintaining the department Performance Improvement Program.
• Oversees radiology operations and/or staff in the absence of the Manager/Director.
• Maintains department supplies, equipment, and assigned sub‑department inventory.
• Supports scheduling for assigned sub‑departments.
• Promotes teamwork and excellent customer service.
• Processes and transmits images to PACS.

Education

Department:Radiology Diagnostic

Shifts Available:Nights and Days

Pay: up to $1,492.40 – $2,087.20 gross per week

Assignment Length: 12 weeks

Responsibilities:

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures (X‑ray, CT, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound, and Special Procedures) per department protocols
• Serves as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring quality service and care
• Participates in Performance Improvement (PI) and Quality Control (QC) activities
• Assists with maintaining the department Performance Improvement Program

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.

2. Effective July 1, 2017appropriate national certifications in two modalities required.

3. Current BLS certification upon hire and maintain current.

4. Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.

5. One year of Acute Clinical Radiography required.

6. Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT.

7. Proficient computer skills.
