Job summary

Ascension in Milwaukee, WI, seeks a part-time MRI Technologist in the Imaging department. You will produce high-quality cross-sectional images, position patients, and select correct settings to ensure optimal exams.

The role requires patient education, timely PACS image management, and strict adherence to radiation safety protocols. ARRT MR certification or eligibility is expected within 12 months of hire.

Qualifications

• High School equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable experience.
• Licensure/Certification: BLS within 1 month of hire; MR/ARRT or ARDMS MR boards within 12 months.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Must pass the Magnetic Resonance (MR) boards through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 12 month of hire/transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Medical Sonographer specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Must pass the Magnetic Resonance (MR) boards through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 12 month of hire/transfer date.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
