Job summary

Mercy Health in Ohio seeks a Radiology Technologist (Harmonized) at St. Charles Navarre Plaza. Under the direction of an authorized user, you will apply diagnostic imaging techniques and ensure radiation safety while delivering high-quality patient care.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, document patient histories, obtain informed consent, and support fluoroscopic procedures. ARRT certification and BLS are required or preferred, with state licensure and RIS experience valued.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Diagnostic Radiology (required)
• State licensure preferred (if required by state)
• BLS by hire for locations; required prior to independent patient care
• 1 year experience in radiation safety and patient care (preferred)
• Experience with Radiology Information System (RIS) preferred

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient history and relevant lab work, document for licensed practitioner
• Position and immobilize patient to expose anatomical area of interest
• Apply radiation protection principles to minimize exposure
• Perform radiographic procedures with imaging equipment
• Verify informed consent and complete pre/post procedure documentation
• Assist licensed practitioner with fluoroscopic procedures; apply aseptic technique as needed
• Perform timeout as required by policy
• Identify, prepare and/or administer medications/contrast as prescribed
