Job summary

Mercy Health in Ohio seeks a PRN Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging with focus on patient care, safety and quality images. This role supports fluoroscopy, IV injections and specialty procedures across the Radiology department.

The position requires ARRT certification, Ohio licensure and BLS, with opportunities to participate in student education and department audits. This is a PRN union-contingent role with multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• Direct patient care including evaluating patient, obtaining consent, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Position patients for routine radiographs and select technical factors.
• Perform specialty procedures (surgery, C‑arm, tomograms, GI/GU) with appropriate quality control.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in fluoroscopic and minor specialty exams; administer contrast media and operate fluoroscopy equipment.
• Mark images with lead markers; ensure proper radiation protection for patient and staff.
• Participate in QA projects and support audits by regulatory bodies.
• Educate and orient students and new staff.
