Job summary

Mercy Health in Lima, OH is seeking a Radiologic Technologist at St. Rita's Medical Center. Under licensed supervision, you will perform diagnostic imaging with radiation safely, document history and labs, and ensure patient comfort.

Requirements include ARRT Certification in Diagnostic Radiology, state licensure preferred, BLS on hire, 1 year experience recommended, EPIC/PACS preferred; you will work in an interdisciplinary team with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Diagnostic Radiology required
• State licensure preferred (where applicable)
• BLS certification required at hire in some locations; preferred before patient care
• 1 year of experience in radiation safety and patient care preferred
• Experience with Radiology Information System (RIS) preferred
• Experience with EPIC/PACS preferred

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient history and relevant lab information for imaging procedures
• Position patient and immobilize as needed for quality radiographs
• Apply radiation safety principles to minimize exposure
• Operate imaging equipment and related accessories
• Obtain informed consent and document pre/post procedure details
• Assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and radiography procedures
