Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking a Radiology Technologist II in Bridgton, ME, for full-time night shifts in Radiology Diagnostics. The role includes performing Diagnostic Radiography, CT, Mammography, and related procedures, with duties spanning patient interaction, PI/QC participation, and overseeing radiology operations in the supervisor's absence.

The position offers a $33.00–$41.26 per hour pay range, with a $15,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• National certifications in two modalities required.
• Current BCLS (AHA).
• Familiarity with State and Federal regulations.
• One year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs Diagnostic Radiographic, CT, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound or Special Procedures as per dept protocols.
• Interfaces with customers and supports imaging needs; ensures service quality.
• Participates in PI/QC activities and in Performance Improvement Programs.
• Oversees radiology area and staff in Manager/Director absence; maintains supplies.
• Manages scheduling for sub-departments and maintains equipment and supplies.
• Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Pay: $33.00 - $41.26 per hour.

Responsibilities

Performs Diagnostic Radiographic, Cat Scan, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultra Sound or Special Procedures according to department protocols. Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in PI/ QC activities. Assists in Maintaining Performance Improvement Program. Oversees radiology area and/or staff in Manager's / Director's absence. Maintains department supplies. Promotes teamwork and good customer service.. Does scheduling for assigned sub departments and maintains supplies and equipment for assigned sub department. Responsible for Processing and transmission of Images to PACS.

Qualifications

1. Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
2. Effective July 1, 2017appropriate national certifications in two modalities required
3. Current BCLS (AHA).
4. Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
5. One year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferred
6. Proficient computer skills.

Pay Transparency

Bridgton Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $33.00 to $41.26 per hour. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
