Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Radiology Technologist II for a 12-week assignment in Bridgton, ME. The role covers Diagnostic Radiography, CT, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound or Special Procedures as per department protocols, with day or night shifts available.

Responsibilities

• Performs Diagnostic Radiography and related procedures per department protocols.

• Participates in PI/QC activities and supports performance improvement.
• Schedules sub-departments and transmits images to PACS.
• Ensures timely, accurate imaging and strong customer service.

Pay: up to $2,592– $3,024 gross per week; equivalent to $72.00 to $84.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

Performs Diagnostic Radiographic, Cat Scan, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultra Sound or Special Procedures according to department protocols. Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in PI/ QC activities. Assists in Maintaining Performance Improvement Program. Oversees radiology area and/or staff in Manager’s / Director’s absence. Maintains department supplies. Promotes teamwork and good customer service. Does scheduling for assigned sub departments and maintains supplies and equipment for assigned sub department. Responsible for Processing and transmission of Images to PACS.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.

2. Effective July 1, 2017 appropriate national certifications in two modalities required.

3. Current BLS certification upon hire and maintain current.

4. Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.

5. One year of Acute Clinical Radiography required.

6. Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT.

7. Proficient computer skills.

This compensation estimate is specific to California and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location.
