Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing seeks Radiology Technologist II in Bridgton, ME for a 12-week assignment. Shifts available: Days or Nights. Pay up to $2,592–$3,024 gross per week, roughly $72–$84 per hour.

You will perform Diagnostic Radiography, CT, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound or Special Procedures, ensure quality and timely image delivery to PACS, participate in PI/QC, and cover in the manager's absence. Requires ARRT, state licensure, BLS, and one year acute radiography experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic, CT, mammography, bone density, ultrasound or special procedures per department protocols.
• Interface with customers to meet imaging needs and ensure quality service.
• Participate in PI/QC activities and support the Performance Improvement Program.
• Oversee radiology area and assist in staff coverage in manager/director absence.
• Maintain department supplies and schedule sub-departments; manage equipment and supplies.
• Process and transmit images to PACS.

Overview

Position: Radiology Technologist II

Location: Bridgton, ME

Department: Radiology Diagnostic

Shifts Available: Days or Nights

Pay: up to $2,592- $3,024 gross per week; equivalent to $72.00 to $84.00 per hour.

Assignment Length: 12 weeks

Responsibilities

Performs Diagnostic Radiographic, Cat Scan, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultra Sound or Special Procedures according to department protocols. Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in PI/ QC activities. Assists in Maintaining Performance Improvement Program. Oversees radiology area and/or staff in Manager's / Director's absence. Maintains department supplies. Promotes teamwork and good customer service. Does scheduling for assigned sub departments and maintains supplies and equipment for assigned sub department. Responsible for Processing and transmission of Images to PACS.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.

2. Effective July 1, 2017 appropriate national certifications in two modalities required.

3. Current BLS certification upon hire and maintain current.

4. Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.

5. One year of Acute Clinical Radiography required.

6. Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT.

7. Proficient computer skills.

This compensation estimate is specific to California and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location.
