Job summary

Advocate Health Care is seeking a senior radiography student for a part-time PRN position in Shelby, NC. You will perform basic diagnostic x-rays under supervision and assist with patient care and safety in a fast-paced imaging department.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a radiography program with BLS certification, and willing to support across multiple imaging modalities as needed. The role is sign-on bonus eligible and pays $21 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with coursework toward a medical imaging credential.
• Clinical or educational experience in radiography preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic diagnostic x-rays supervised by a radiology technologist.
• Assists in patient care and safety during procedures.
• Obtains medications and contrast media as directed for licensed staff.
• Supports physicians and technologists in diagnostic exams across modalities.
• Maintains patient flow and administrative tasks in RIS/EMR.
