Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a PRN X-ray Tech to support the Kannapolis department. You will perform radiographic examinations under the radiologist and coordinate daily activities, including basic clerical duties, to ensure smooth operation.

The role requires completion of a Radiology Technology Program with ARRT registration (or eligible and registered within 1 year) and BLS certification; holiday rotations may apply as part of coverage.

Qualifications

• Formal Radiology Technology program completion; ARRT registration required or eligible and must be registered within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification required per policy guidelines.
• Prior radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures with supervision and under radiologist direction.
• Prepare and administer contrast media as required and document patient history on requisition.
• Verify patient identity and maintain required records per standards.
• Coordinate daily activities and assist with clerical duties.
