Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Radiology Administrative Assistant to support patient flow and imaging operations. The role includes patient prep, scheduling, and coordinating between physicians, radiologists, and technologists.

You will handle requisitions, maintain exam rooms, and assist with imaging reports and records while providing courteous patient service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred upon hire.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.
• Ability to interact with patients, families, and staff professionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in exam prep and provide basic procedure guidance.
• Use radiology computer systems to generate requisitions and check schedules.
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms and equipment.
• Greet patients, answer calls, schedule appointments, and relay information as needed.
• Serve as liaison between physicians, radiologists, and technologists.
• Provide radiology reports or images upon request and manage film/file records.
• Document observations and communicate patient needs to the care team.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on imaging equipment.
