Advocate Health is seeking a part-time radiology support assistant for the Condell Medical Center campus. The role includes patient preparation, basic instruction for procedures, transporting and escorting patients, and coordinating with radiology staff.

Responsibilities also cover using radiology systems, room preparation, scheduling, and documentation, with emphasis on clear communication and teamwork in a busy department.

Qualifications

• Competent in IV insertion and venipuncture.
• Excellent communication skills with patients, staff and physicians.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Intermediate computer skills with email and applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in preparation for exams and guide them through procedures.
• Use radiology systems to generate requisitions, check schedules and obtain patient data.
• Prepare exam rooms, stock supplies, and maintain equipment.
• Greet patients and answer routine inquiries, schedule appointments, and relay messages.
