Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Radiology support assistant at Advocate Christ Medical Center. Core hours are 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. with rotating weekends and a 20-hour workweek; benefits eligible as part of the health system.

The role involves patient prep, basic exam instruction, patient transport, and coordination with physicians and technologists within Radiology. Prior experience not required; BLS certification preferred upon hire.

Qualifications

• GED or HSED or High School Diploma required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in exam preparation and provide basic instruction.
• Transport patients between rooms and assist with escorts as needed.
• Use radiology systems to generate requisitions, check schedules and obtain patient data.
