Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Radiology Support role to assist patients before exams and transport them between imaging areas. You will use radiology computer systems to manage requisitions, schedules, and patient data, while preparing rooms, stocking supplies, and ensuring equipment is ready for procedures.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• BLS certification required on hire.
• Basic life support knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in exam prep and transport between rooms.
• Use radiology systems to generate requisitions and check schedules.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain equipment.
• Greet patients and manage calls and appointments.
• Act as liaison between physicians, radiologists, and technologists.
• Provide radiology reports and manage films.
• Document information and communicate observations to the care team.
• Maintain imaging equipment and assist with MRI implants screening.
• Provide age-appropriate care and follow department policies.
